This song is not in a battle

It's been a crazy month at work, I'm glad it's over, so I wrote this to song to to brush me down and start afresh.

Sweet and harmonious
Does exactly what it says on the tin.  The motif is sweet and all in all it's very well recorded.  The only thing I don't like is the bass keeps jumping down to E which grates a bit and doesn't sit well with the melody as a whole, sticks out a bit much.

As usual great tune and nice recording.Hmmm I'm looking for the sound clash from that E on the Bass mentioned above but can't find it clashing anywhere as oppose to giving the song a thick bottom.I did find it I bit extended at the end and suffering from a bit of hiss ,I guess from the percussion Mic.But other than that is a great song.Gets my vote!

It's definitely an E, the bass starts coasting in A, then it gets closer to the rhythm and goes bam-ba-bam-ba, with the second bam being an E.  It's not earth-shatteringly dodgy or anything, it just seems to be too much of a minor in a otherwise mostly major song - but y'know, different folks, different strokes

Are there two people? Is there layering? Or are you just talented enough to pull that off?

wow! what a excellent song
the melody is so rich and sweet I was almost expecting James Taylor to start singing!
I will vote high( would vote higher if you get James Taylor to sing Ah ah)

I've got so many asongs that need lyrics, it's my one big weakness, mainley a confidence thing I think.
PagansCradle wrote the lyrics to the Christmas song I uploaded recently. I'm working on a sort of jazzy blues song at the moment, which is definatly a vocal song, I've posted it to Pagan and she's going to have a go.

Thanks for listening.

It's great that you getting back in the flow of things, keep at it.

If you need any help with your songs, I'll only be to glad to help you out.

Cheers

Amazing. Just light and refreshing. I agree, it needs vocals but in the meantime time it sounds so pleasant (it's kind of like listening to smooth jazz covers of pop songs). If no one's taken a crack at this yet I might give it a try if I can find some time. Great work.
