It’s in the battle 2007-07

New song that I wrote few days ago. I'm trying to get a bit different sound, combining heavy guitar with piano riff, just experimenting....post coments please...

it mixes really well.. and i like all guitar solos. However, I think that the vocals are still too sweet or maybe the song is too hard for them (i'm missing some power)..

This is great song, the piano fits, perhaps raise it slightly in the mix.

You have got great vox, I have the feeling in this particular song, if you raised the key the vox would cut through better, I would suggest finding the point where you are almost at the top of your range, worth a try I think.

Great guitar work.

I can understand dozzazes concern of the 'soft/heavy' balance, like the guitar is heavy for the vocal and the vocal is soft.
But still I think this to be a beautiful composition, very well made!
The piano and the guitar is a nice touch, I actually thought you'd have 'done a bit more' as it was an 'experiment' yn all!!
This deserves a good vote!

@swordfish: if the voting continues in this way then the eurovision songcontest should change its name into easteurovision songcontest. hmm dont know ... cant stand it.

back to the song.....

again a really good rock title. guitar soli are great. vocals work is fantastic. and the appearance of the piano is well done.

Tnx guys for all your coments....I agree when you say my voice is a bit sweet for this song...and I completely know what you mean...I'm still trying to improve that...I'm still trying to find the balance...cause I don't wanna sound really heavy, I can sound heavy (I will send some of that songs). I'm trying to make it sound listenable to all, and trying to make is a bit heavy so...Anyway, tnx all, expect soon more songs cause I have them a lot . Last week recorded 4 new songs.

Guitar is great!  Reminds me of Sabbath's Heaven and Hell.  I don't think the piano fit's though IMHO.  I agree with dozzaz about the vocals, they are a little subdued but that's just the 1st verse.  Hook sounds great vocal wise.  You pushed your vocals well.  I would suggest you think about changing the melody of the verse to a higher range so you can push your vocals the way you do in the hook. Does that make sense?  Also I would prefer a little less echo. I think it would tighten up the mix.  Nice work!

Well, Spoonman, great guitar as always with you.
I really don't know if the piano is right placed... sounds a bit weird for me.
But well done anyway!
