what do you do
*

This song is not in a battle

I've got a fever runnin through me like a freight train,
You look at me as if you know.
All of my secrets are tied to the track,
I'm waiting for you to let them go.
You've got the ocean inside of you,
Waves to put my fire out.
Suddenly, I can't see through all the smoke,
And I just can't do without.

What do you do,
When your head says no but the rest says yes?
What do you do,
When every cell in your body is testing you?
What do you do,
When your head says no but the rest says yes?
What do you do,
When everything you thought you felt never was?

When you stand so close to me,
And I can feel you breathe,
Don't you know how bad you are for me?
Boy, you're dangerous....

(oh, oh...)

Boy you're dangerous, boy you're dangerous...

What do you do,
When your head says no but the rest says yes?
What do you do,
When every cell in your body is testing you?
What do you do,
When your head says no but the rest says yes?
What do you do,
When everything you thought you felt never was?

LOVE this song, would love to suggest a few things, actually discuss !
But the fact that you do all of your work your self humbles me to silence!
Like the story , the poetry of the words, the way you sing and the way it all chugs on!
I can really hear strings or some kind of other instrument bringing the whole lot together  !

Ummm...WOW! Good stuff! I agree with Kings.  I would love to hear some strings to fill this out.  Your voice is lovely!  The lyrics are great!  Maybe even some piano in the back would be a classy touch! Definately voting for this one!   Maybe one too many "OOOhs" at around 2:40ish! LOL! Other than that, AWESOME!

Cool tune but compared to your latest recording it sounds like you took some shortcuts in production. The song in it self is really cool.Your voice is really fitting for this vibe, and the harm arrangements are excellent!Gets a good good vote

I listen to looooads of things, but I'm never really sure what I'm influenced by. Maybe a bit Yeah Yeah Yeahs here? I dunno. The drums reminded me a bit of Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

its just that you sound a bit like bands my girlfriend likes; like jack off jill, scarling, queenadreena, but only the softer ( and in my opinion, better) songs. i dont know these bands well tho, nor do i know the yeah yeah yeahs, i thought they were punk, so i stayed away from them.

again, brilliant song

Muse, yeah.

Good stuff, doll.  I'd also like to hear some strings.

My only gripe was that the vocal melody stayed relatively consistent throughout the piece--almost to the point of repetition.

Easy fix.
