This song is not in a battle

Not my best piece, but I already had this one (at least mostly) ready to post.  Thanks for all comments and suggestions.

Verse 1:

I'm just sittin' here
Writing you this letter
To remind you of the things
We've done together
I wouldn't trade them in
For anything but you.

You've gave me so many memories
All the places we've gone
And the people we've seen
It means so much to me
Just to know that they
Were with you.

Chorus:

So I tip my hat to you
For giving my life such meaning
And I pray our loves not through
This way

When I think of you I get chills
When I see your smiling face,
It just seems like a thousand years
But it was only yesterday.

Verse 2:

I'm just sittin' here
Writing you this letter
I woke up today.
But didn't feel any better
I looked by my side
And could've sworn that I'd
Saw you.

I guess I just let my thoughts
Get the best of me,
Dreaming of me and you,
Next to Tennessee,
Or a walk on the beach
In a town that I once knew.

[Chorus]

Bridge:

I've done you wrong,
You know it's true
You just don't know what you have
Until you lose it

But you'll be in my heart
And you'll be on my mind
And I'll never let you go.

[Chorus]

ok.....
I have to say,

This is very relaxed....  There are some recording issues, nothing too major though.... Definitely a nice song...

I like the lyrics...  Your vocal is pretty good...

This Letter...
Agree with JimK all the way.. confidence is really
the only thing that is lacking here.. growing up I
had two music directors, one at school and one
at church.. Neither knew each other, yet both
often seemed to have the same ideas about trying
to teach music.. one of those lessons often seems
to apply here on the amp.. that is this; "If you go
ahead and assert yourself, when you make mistakes
they will be heard! So they can easily be fixed.. It's
when you shy away from it, that things are lost in
the translation.. Not allowing room for improvements!"
I know the message I want to get across is in there
somewhere..  just not sure where.. oh yea, go ahead
and preform every time like it is to be your best
ever.. That way you can always improve, because
others will tell you when you don't!
