I have to agree with Triton - this one really makes me feel relaxed and soothed.  Quite a departure from your usual style - but it's fun to experiment! I do think the vox could be a little louder in the mix though

hmmm
A bit loud....  And theres a little bit of clipping around 1:35... . Otherwise, I found the horns coming in a bit late at 2:25... But the overall feel is just as Triton and SPoon said, very laid back... and yes.. quite the departure from your usual style....

Silence Is Golden

Oh don't it hurt deep inside
To see someone do something to her
Oh don't it pain to see someone cry
How especially if that someone is her

Silence is golden, but my eyes still see
Silence is golden, golden, but my eyes still see

Talking is cheap people follow like sheep
Even though there is no where to go
How could she tell he decieved her so well
Pity she'll be the last one to know

How many times will she fall for his lines
Should I tell her or should I be cool
And if I tried I know she'd say I lied
Mind your business don't hurt her you fool

Silence is golden, but my eyes still see
Silence is golden, golden, but my eyes still see

truly...the 8 minute long guitar solo really made my dance. and the choir? excellent idea!! also luv the lute solo at 19:12 and the clarinet chorus at 5:34. Needs to hav a bit more than the one bar of marracas though...

wow
I can see why this song is so popular
Very brave of you to attempt a 13/4 time signature, but you pulled it off!! Also, I thought your choice of instruments during the beginning, harpsichord, bagpipes and a detuned viola? Never imagined they would work together. And yeah, 8 minute guitar solo, I think that puts you up there with Guns n' Roses for longest guitar solo.
Definitely no other song like it.
