It is a Klezmer tune.
I wrote it for my band.
The way performed it for the recording session is different than what we do at a wedding and i think the orchestration gives it a more traditional sound since klezmer music, 150 years ago was mainly string instruments and flutes reather than the band instruments introduced when musicians started getting inducted into the armies in E.Europe.

This is really good, and I hate klezmer music. Love the harmony that comes in around 1:38 between flute and violin, really good quality and a great composition hat's off to Bill Averbach.

Simple sound, nice melody. Not a big fan of the violin, but it sounded sweet coming back the second time. I like the woody sound produced by the flute. Sweet.

this is real good I love the chords you choose for the guitar.  I like the song the only thing for me is the guitar sound seems a little dull,  just from the recording only not the playing ......seems like the top end harmonics are rolled out.  the guitar itself has nice tone though and is well played ......along with the the flute and the violin ...........talented musicians and song writer .  Good Job.
