It’s in the battle 2007-03

He found it in the Badlands
Sparkling in the desert sand
Just an old shot glass
My friend

Told me bout a movie star
Met the reaper didn’t get that far
And all his Hollywood buddies
Met at the place he crashed his car

And they all gathered in the sand
Each had a shot glass in his right hand
They were drinking coke and crown
They held it up and drank it down

I’ve got a feeling you’ve been here before
Was it you who met the reaper at the door
Every night you saddle up that white horse in your dreams
Put on your long tall hat and chase your memories

I’ve got a silent movie
Playing in my mind
It’s been tainted
By the stains of time

I’ve been all around the world
And I’ve seen all kinds of signs
Never comprehending
All the things I’ll never find

Every time I hold it up
I’ll toast the memory
Every time I drink it down
It knocks me to my knees

Just love it. You could bring the vocals out a bit more in the mix, otherwise don't change a thing!
Love the chorus on the refrain as well.  Superb work, keep 'em coming.

Levels are a little off for me between the lead and rhythm guitar. Think the rhythm should come up a little and the lead be toned down a touch when the vocals are the focal point. Other than that this is a great song. The lyics are good and your vocals are superb. Really enjoyed this.

maybe not the most pro recording but what a good song!
The kind of thing that I love to listen to but never will be able to write maybe you have to be more of a cowboy than I am
I love your voice and the feeling it brings to the lyrics

Certainly up there in the vox stakes story telling guitar tone appropriate too ,cool.
The song really hangs on your vocals which are awsome.

Badass!
I am a big fan of this style. You have an awesom voice, I would love to hear it more pronounced/emphasized on some parts. Glad I saw this one.

Yahhh, I really like this song so far... only about 50 secs into song.  Ohhh, yahhh, nice harmony.  Good story to follow for the listener.  I'd like to hear a more cleaner solos, not so choppy; sound a bit too jumpy for the song.
