Like SpOOnMan says, surely has potential.  For a polished recording you need to record it without the background buzz for starters, and like Ive said to a few on here, go the CLICK TRACK! You wouldnt be able to use a straight metronome with this one because you have plenty of ritards and time changes in there. The click track will help you define your verses and sections and make it sound tighter overall. Most importantly it will define the rhythm which I think is what is lacking.

In all I really like the ideas you have here, would love to see them developed. Good work mate!

Don't care about tempo variations. Music is made of variations. Everything should be guided thru by some kind of other instrumental intervention.

Quite a good exercise about 1.50'. It's an idea. Try to complete.

Try running your guitar levels hotter. You don't have any headroom left on your slider after recording, which is creating the hiss.
