This song is not in a battle

What man is there who’s seen the great divide?
Martyred by his brother, his wife cast aside;
Unloved but by her son, and his sister loved him.
A Family united; A Family of sin.

What manner of monster on my pulpit stands?
What manner of deeds does he demand?
He wants my mind, your body, and our souls.
None heeding his word; All doing as told.

Words scream out and call us in. An incendiary fate:
We turn to you, oh, Joan of Arc; you witches on the stake.
Mess around with fucking clowns, my hunger never sates,
Leave the room in such a mess. Even God berates.

What world can gaze on the chasm and stamp on your face?
But do so with angels, loving; with grace.
The connoisseur of men spits his sample back out,
He says to the waiter, "Take this back out!"

I have seen the divide, and on your pulpit stood;
Hero & Devil: Both motors 'neath my hood.
I've gazed and stamped many into oblivion;
All in the name of the first scion.

on my end i can't feel the dynamics of this mix...
the vocals stand out the most
but are not consistent...
it's a rockin little piece...
the lyrics seem to be sung outta place
however the lyrics are very poetic
and metal has a place for them course...
maybe it's just the mix...
rock on!

Well played...
However, I don't think the vocals do justice to this song, I couldn't really get into it. Maybe it's just not my style, but even then, I agree with Fancyjack that the vocals aren't consistent, I think you need to get more of a ground base on the vocals to move forward with this. Otherwise, very rockin'

Thanks for the comments
I'm still really not sure how i want to do the vocals on any of my songs, this one included, so i try to get in a couple of variations, but if none of those that i did on this track work, i'll just have to change it up. if anybody has any specific styles that they think might work for this song, that would be cool.
