I don't even know what to say about this song...I don't think it fall into the category of regular  "spoonishness"  but it's fun, makes me laugh and smile and wiggle..so have fun! and tell me what you think please

Groovy....love the change at...1:16 I believe it was...I myself think this does has that Spoon quality that I listen for and enjoy.....I cant exactly pin point it but every time the chorus comes in I see a band playing down at the beach around a fire while all the "cool cats'' are jiving around and surfing and what not..............kinda like those surfer musical movies.....I think that was the sixties too wasn't it?

yeah. I agree with basket case. it's that drummer of yours. he ascended from a scooby doo episode and surely did soundtrack bits and pieces for johnny bravo.

now he's with the spoon band and there's no escaping that 60s surf sound. that said I like the punch of this one, it's very energetic, ace production as usual and your voice sits lovely in the middle.

I really like this!  Great recording.  The only change I *might* make would be to give it a more contemporary sound by using distortion rather than overdrive in the chorus.
