It’s in the battle 2007-02

[verse1]
In the autumn-winter rain
I followed you in vain
The searching of another
Like a blind man with his kane
In the dark December cold
We all need someone to hold
For warmth and for affection
and all that, so I'm told

[chorus]
Again, again and again
I'm running into the wall
When I'm looking in the mirror
Why do I feel so small?
Again, again and again
I am lying on the floor
contemplating yesterday
Why am I trying again at all?

[verse2]
In the mirror of abuse
I'm not looking at my youth
my future in a shining
crystal ball of truth
It's hard to see what's real
what's likely to appeal
the bathroom is still spinning
It's time to walk away

[chorus]
Again, again and again
I'm running into the wall
When I'm looking in the mirror
Why do I feel so small?
Again, again and again
I am lying on the floor
contemplating yesterday
Why am I trying again at all?

Cool song' I really liked it! ok, because I've read BCs comment I could say, Yea, you right! It does sound like a 'cliche' song, but I still like it. It made me happy and wobbly!
The only thing that kind of 'nudged' me was : 'contemplating yesterday'
It would be good to find a better fitting line, but one that means the same.

Good Rock Tune
This is a good rock song, no doubt it sounds like a lot of other songs but here's the difference- You wrote it!! I like the riff. Its catchy. I would have liked the vocals to be a bit stronger, there's no attitude in the delivery. Put some punch in it and this is ready for MTV.

I liked it, and it's well done recording wise. A popular sound likely to be found in a certain type of college / slasher movies... Like Buffy the Vampyre Slayer. Could use a bit more "bite" for that still, but hey... It's enjoyable and the chorus is well thought of. The ending too abrupt.

7 out of 10, as Basketcase said, I can agree, I give you half a point more

I like this tune 'cos each instrument is well played and preserves its own dynamic range and clarity.
Not exactly my genre but it's a good job!

Good song! Nothing more to it, a nice, well played song, nice melody, rustic voice, topy!. it stops rather abruptly though.

Good rock pop song.I know a lot of people play stuff like this. But it works and it sells.GREAT JOB!Vox are low in the mix for my taste, and there's a drop in volume in the verses

re: Again
hey this is good

well proportioned dance/pop tune

the mix is a bit flat though and could do with a bit of edge (eq on the voice to lift it further out of the band)

a little movement in the panning might be nice too it all sounds a bit central

i like it

I like it there is nothing wrong with cookie cutter music if it's good .... and this is good  the vocals are well done this sounds like it was done at a studio  the harmonies and guitar tones are excellent the only thing i didn't like was the sound of the snare ( to dull) for this type of song.  great job on this one
