Leptany - Headlights
*
Rock band from my Bedroom.

This is an old song my band used to play that we wrote. This is pretty much the first song I ever recorded.
I haven't got the project file but as far as I know there are 2 guitar channels, 1 bass and 1 vocal.

Guitar was recorded with a Squier Strat with Stock Pick-ups, though I like the grainy and dirty guitar!

yeah the guitar is dirty :-) but wow thats good. the straight rhythm to me is bit repetitive. sounds like a machine. Anyway the guitar sounds are awesome. the song is ok. You did a good job. Go ahead. Thumbs up!

slightly reminiscent of The Sound, which is a good thing. Yes the guitar tone is REALLY good, the vocals however too far to the back! So in that sense, it needs a remix. But the song is rocking with a wavey feel to it (like The Sound) so praise for that.

keep it up & welcome to the Amp!

good straight forward rock
good solid rock track
the voice could be work on maybe but the sound of the guitars bass and drum(machine?) are very decent
It might not be revolutionary but i like it
well done

Wow, for an old song, this sounds pretty new and 'indie-trendy'.
In my opinion, the snare drum is a bit too loud and the rhythm indeed is a bit repetitive.

The guitars are awesome though. I like the guitarstyle in the beginning and at 2:02.

Good song. If you improve the recording a little (sounds kinda muffled) then this is a neat little piece of art.

Peace

Tight.  I like it.  For a "First Song Recorded" it was really good.  Do you not write anymore?

That song was written early 2005. We didn't start writing and gigging properly since october 2005.

Yes, we are currently gigging again after a dry spell through december
Check www.leptany.co.uk (re-directs to myspace).
Since November 2006 we've been writting new material but have no recordings of any of them as of yet.

Yes
Love the punkish indie rock. Really natural and cool.
I get sucked into this, energetic, nice guitar progression, nice riff. Nice song. I'll vote for that (dunno if it'll work though, worked for a little bit before then stopped again).
