Nice suondscape... kinda mellow.
You used some cool effects here, and that fits perfectly the song.
I feel the drums a bit sake, but as you said, may be they work for this song.

This has an atmosphere ,sounds interesting , the drum style fits the bill ok.
Great use of fx in the playing and mix and structure good work.
