wah-wah-wha-what?
*
This is the placeholder for a new MP3 player

This song is not in a battle

i was just making this drumtrack(Reason), but after that i started playing with a sampler, so actually i haven't played a note on this and some samples dont fit too well ( had some difficulties with transposing, any Reason-masters around?)
just for learning&fun, comments are welcome

Pretty pretty nice.
I like the mix of all those guitar effects you did.
Although the drums sequence sounds a bit fake: kicks and cymbals out of score, that make you feel those drums are machine.
But overall, nice work.

Cheerful composition. It would be desirable to live. Thanks.

killing in the name of
ya as said in the subject this definately starts out with the bassline like that, but thank god it takes a whole different direction, and I have to say - it sounds pretty good.

actually letting it play in a loop it does take me on a ride back to some 70s series, while the drumming keeps everything fresh and up to date. yes I think the drums are very well done... the sounds could get their individual effect, but as them being support to the rest of the instrumental, they really do very well. This is a demo anyway. I love the synth effect percussion there, btw.

Max, it seems you have combined some unorthodox sounds (that funky "grunting", rumbling off-beat bass sound, among others) and rhythms with some very familiar instrumental sounds (one the guitar parts sounds reminiscent of Edgar Winter's "Free Ride" from the seventies). However, this sound is not at all "dated" to these ears.. No, it seems you have made something totally new and interesting out of this. I can safely say I have never heard anything exactly like this, and that I am drawn to listen to it.

i lost the first base note while uploading??? strange..

I must agree with Iszil this would be very difficult to drum for a drummer with only 2 hands, but i think its the synth percussion thats out of score, i am fixing that at the moment as well as some guitar parts that dont fit too well imo

I indeed was in a 70's mood, but i preferred the drumsound of today,

now Puppet mentions it, indeed very RATM bass line, oops

tnx a lot for comments, especially for comps of course
