nice melody
nice melody and the drum loops are hard as hell. And I like how the beat drops and the pad comes back on with it. You must have used a good beat machine or high quality software. Anyways I love this instrumental so go ahead and puts some lyrics on it now.

certainly has something, a bit more bassline would make it fuller, but minimalist as it is, it sounds pretty powerful. good choice of sounds, the lead instrument and melody is really great!

Write as you listen eh? I do that from time to time. Now, polyphony, I haven't heard that word used since last year at school. I think some slow but powerful vocals would suit this, is that as far as you're taking it? Anyway, it makes for a great listen, some instrumentals strike me as fascinating, you've done this.
