Vocal-02-Dreams in the Night
*

This song is not in a battle

Vocals only.

This is being posted purely for feedback.
I'm looking for a bass track a drum track a guitar track and I think some strings would fit in well too.
Tall order? What are you made of?

The lyrics have a structure but I can write in or out as the moment dictates.

You can tell me you have an idea and start a discussion about it, you can post your idea as long as I know where it is or you can send it to me via mail(at)kingsonone.com

Dreams in the night
Stars in the eyes
Places never been before
To the child in time
The familiar signs
Take forever and more

I am on a journey
To somewhere over there
Say certain things in certain ways
Of which you’re well aware

Dreams in the night
Stars in the eyes
Places never been before
To the child in time
Those familiar signs
Take forever and more

This journey it is me
And so I come to realize
That this journey it is you
But can you see………

……For the dreams in the night
And those stars in your eyes
All those places you’ve never been before
To you now the child in time
These, those familiar signs
Seem to take your forever and more

Somewhere on this journey
Between lost and lonely
Someone told me, it was only
To long for her love

Dreams in the night
Stars in the eyes
Places never been before
To the child in time
The familiar signs
Take forever and more

I'd also like to know if you have any ideas but wouldn't do it because you cant relate to the lyric.
As a lyric writer I'd like to hear the musicians point of view of the words!

Thanks

Kings

Nice a capella stuff!
What sort of accompaniment you've thought for this?
It sounds with a jazzy touch, Music might be in a 6/8 time signature, like a bluesy rock stuff

This is exactly what I mean!
If you think you can play something that follows this general pattern, please go ahead.
You can hear from the vocal what the changes are and the lyrics give you the structure.

I suppose a rockish though funky kind of Music would be right.

I tend to be 'emotional' in my writing/singing so some bits are lows and others highs.
