Sounds to me like your using SimSynth 2.7, yes, no? Is it the stand-alone version?
It makes the most amazing sounds, and is an excellent step-sequencer.

As you've just proved, whether it's SimSynth or not.

There's no drum! A! the beat comes from a bass sound.
It could do with a beat and some hats and then one or two really groovy vocal samples.
Except for your sounds just cutting off a bit on the abrupt side for me, I quite liked this little ditty.
