Improvisation

Just a little improvisation on the keyboard.

There's about 1 inverted chord in there, and there's little dynamic variation.

Also I apologise for the awful recording quality.

ok, sounds goof for a song, but as an improvisation I don't think it stands alone... so you may want to get the recording better and add more instruments... (it sounds like a ballad at spots to me hehe)

Just an opinion.

The first chord is cool. The second one is weird. The third's cool again since it is the first one. The next one is ... GRAHhhh, just dont think when youre doing improv. One SOOO can hear that you're thinking of the next chord - Just ... follow your feeling !

Improvising with classical scales = da shiat. You should try blues scales. Or just random tones :

Check out this improvised one of us.

pretty
it's kinda in and out some  the timing pauses before the next chord tends to take away from it some .....  but then some spots are really pretty

I'm trying to get it but I'm having a hard time because of the timming. The melody is more or less there.
Good feel though!

what seems to be missing is direction.
there are some interesting beginnings of things but they don't develop.
improvisation is a culmination of musical experience to that point in time.
unfortunately technique is a huge hurdle that needs to be overcome (practice)
Charlie Parker said the a musician needs to practice everything and learn it inside out, then forget it and play music.
Practice and get the technique. Keep playing. If you do it only gets better

Up to :45 I think it is actually very good, just needs to be written down, practiced and played at a fasted pace with better timing. I think it would be a good base for a song

However, uhg after that. Keep up the good work!!!
