NEEDS MORE COWBELL......lol sorry
At just about 1:40 or 1:45 and the rest of the chorus, it seems as if the bass player doesn't really know what's going on there, but catches up halfway through, and then loses him self again, then catches up......

Your stereo image is really great. But the drums coming in for the first time are a bit late, and never seem to quite get it right. They are close, but not right there with the rest of the band.
Solo good. Cool abrupt ending, fade-outs annoy me

The songwriting is great, in my opinion. This is my favorite style of music, period.
"Straight up", as you say.

BTW, welcome to BandAmp, stick around!

Rock on!...Yes indedd straight ahead....the best kind....guitaring is excellent nice groove....only critique...well not really, more of a suggestion,  try making it more modern? its a bit dated....but still an enjoyable listen....I think the chorus could be stronger as well......Welcome to the amp!

oooookaaay! This is pretty hot! I really like the "riff-heavy" quality...the "straight-up" bass/guitar/drum instrumentation..Like the ballsy vocals. It's good to have someone represent this kind of rock and roll here on the site. I checked out your homepage. I noticed Johnny Winter is one of your "heroes". Mine, too. It seems I can hear his influence in this (some aspects of the guitar playing, particularly, the "busy, riffy" quality... and the gravelly, growling vocals). Anyway, this is a good song to really crank! Welcome to the Amp and I'm looking forwards to more of your stuff.

BasketCase, what are you TALKING about?
"Modern"? Who the hell cares what's modern....
no offense meant, but man.....

Besides, this kind of music is WAY better than the modern, popular stuff.

O my God!........This one really kicks ass.

You got a damn good vocal there!

I understand what Oldies is on about concerning the drums, but if he hadn't made a point I would have just put it down to being 'straight up rock and roll'. So it's good that he did.

Hey!...What was that???? "She gave me a wink, and pulled out her tongue", or was it really "She gave me a wank, and pulled out her tongue"???lol

[edit] I've had this looping for the last half hour, it's really a very good song. But, I hear a 'rim'(?) tick every now and then, to be honest it sounds like my PC 'page open' click in the background, but I know that it's not.

ole fashioned but well 'evi!!
The first thing that impresses about the song is the fullness of the sound...I would love to know what reverb was used! However, the vocals sound too up-close in comparison during the verses. Nice catchy chorus and a good riff...just the kind of thing that does it for me.
