Black Beauty
*

This song is not in a battle

this blues was dedicated to one of my guitars, a Gibson Les Paul
"Black beauty", which I used to play in 98-99

the recording, live in studio in 2001, is from the Sticks and Bones, as follows:

Lady Bug (vocals)
Jack Cat (lead guitar)
Django (guitar)
Marnie (bass)
Pepper (drums)

BLACK BEAUTY
January ’99

I’d like forgive you / cancel the dream            Am    C
I’d like tell the name /without being forced to scream    D    Am
I’d like light the weight / I’d like break the chain        Am     C
I’d rather stop breathin’ / than miss that fucked train    D     Am
‘cause you magic woman / black beauty from sun        F    C
you’ve talked with a devil / put a sign on my heart        E7    Am
Steel and fire burn my soul / someone call me poet    F    C
yet I’m just a little thing / which feels so near to close    D7     G

I’ ve been walkin’ through deserts / and I’d walk over seas
yet I’ve stood on the crossroad / while traffic lamp’s green
now I want my blues / fly strong and high
somewhere and forever / on the wings of the night
‘cause you magic woman / black beauty from sun
you’ve talked with a devil/ put a sign on my heart
Steel and fire burn my soul / someone call me poet
yet I’m just a little thing  / which feels so near to close
