It needs to be remixed and could do wth a bass line, but let me know what you all think anyways.

Your voice is f**king haunting man. The song reminds me of Tim McGraw. Then again, I havent heard a McGraw song since I was 8, and that was about 11 years ago. So don't take that as a insult. It has the emotional impact of "don't take the girl." And I say thing because on hearing it - that was my first thought.

Your voice specifically makes me think of Axel the Sott on his more serious songs. Take that as you will, too.

nice voice. a bass would fill the harmonic gap present in this version. also a second guitar would stand great with some slide work
