Downhearted Blues

This song is not in a battle

This is a cover of Son House's classic; but the music is 100% original, much like Clapton's covers or Zeppelin covers.... of course, it sounds more like Zeppelin : ).

Appreciate comments even though it isn't in a battle!

When I woke up this morn.....
I stumbled straight towardsto the computer and started bandamp connection and listened this blues

Awesome voice. Better listen in mono. Bass too far left, guitar too far right and missing keys.
Good feeling

Did YOU sing this?

yep
I did sing this...

when I played this for freinds, they agreed that this is the best sound for my voice... I've been proud of guitar work before, but this song is the only one where the vocals make me go-->

appreciate the comments...

I used a Mexican Strat, with a Crate amplifier(GTX 212), low/med dist, low/med "shape," med/high reverb and in production (CEPro 2.0) I added a slight echo.

I miked the amp with a (drumroll)..... Shure mic....SM-....58!!!!!!   I didn't have a 57 at the time....but I do now
