This song is not in a battle

Well, what could I say to defend myself. As always, it´s not ready yet, but here it is - my first recording. I usually play with a band, but this one is acoustic. Try to enjoy ( and the real me comes up in the end of the song).

PAPERBACK NOVEL
by Miona

I´m staying up through the night
rolling from side to side
the darkness without a light
has made me colour-blind
The toughts in my head
won´t leave me alone
I´ll close my eyes and die in bed
And nobody knows why

Chorus:    There has been times I didn´t know the reason why
Why should I go on, how?
    Why not let go now?
There has been times I felt nothing inside
    No power to keep alive
    Oh, why?

Have you ever tried to throw
paperback novel against the wall
and see what page comes up
when it hits the ground, covers down?
I did, It was an act of rage
but I got eclipse from the page
it told a story about my life
and how it could be

2xChorus:

Yeah, Yeah…
Wow Yeah

2xChorus:

Hey yeah

Welcome to the Amp
A very nice song to introduce yourself with.  Lovely vox...especially when you really put some power into them near the end

Just a suggestion...sand it's about english language....in the chorus - you should say "have" instead of "has" and some other english spelling errors:
"rowling" should be "rolling"
"taughts" should be "thoughts"

But I like it!  Can't wait to hear more from you

Is there more that you would like to show up?
Sounds fresh. Id like to hear the band version.
Youre a great singer. I feel good while listening.
And I like the sound of the metronome.
The song as itself  is very good. The performance is very good
The quality is good. I like the echo effect on the vocals.
I dont like the bass. IMO its bit too dry.
But you got a vote. Waiting for more.

definately very good! can't add to what's been said.. I think it's very well done for your first recording. Even without drums there is a strong energetic drive coming through - simply great!

I liked the song. I think you have a strong voice. Are you planning to fill the music in with more instruments? I keep on hearing electric guitar and stuff with it for build up. If you'd like we can collaborate?
