Vocal/Synth/Samples - Its not unusual
*

This song is not in a battle

An experiment, a lesson, an experience.
No drums

I still have a lot to learn now, but I had loads more to learn then.

I know the bass is wrong, the timings not right, the levels are out, the structures off etc etc, if you do comment, don't state the obvious, give me something to chew on.

I'm not a sound engineer, wish I was though.
Like a vicar might not know how to actually build a Church, he knows exactly what to do once He's inside.

But even after admitting my short comings I'm still happy with it.
And I think you might like it in some way too.

O yes, here's a link to the lyrics

nice vocals    I like the "lo-fi" kind of delay you use at the begining for the bass... I just love that sound.  I'd like to hear some 80's-ish beats breaking the calm mood.... but it's ok as it is.  I don't thing levels are out, that kind of vocals should be a little in the back all the time (ask puppetxeno  )

PX?

I might be but don't know it!

aetheris: I have indeed followed a little of puppetxeno's story with his background vocals.

I would call myself a word man, the word is important, I do the music because it fits and is the medium for it.
So a vocal I believe should be clear and understood, unless it's not meant to be.

You can listen to the rest of my stuff if you want to, find a file called "can_euon" on the deskTop, you can read my lyrics at "motionalPoetry", the address; www.kingsonone.com

hey, I like experimental space grooves at times!

Perhaps this touching some of the Legendary Pink Dots early work, and definately hits Nurse With Wound.

So yeah... I haven't been listening to bandamp tunes a lot lately, but I promise I'll check out your other work soon!

cheers!

and Iszil.... no, I haven't met kings before, but he does live in the same country, together with 16 million others.

Isn't that what people usually say about Australians?

Thank you,
if I can remember it was just a few loops, some changed along the way, all sent to a good double delay.

Cool experiment.

The rhythms seem strange to me at times, as if switching between swung and straight beats. But that might just be me.

I like the vox/lyrics.

This is cool. It seems a bit random at first, but I can hear the structure as I listen. Good one.

I lke it!
It’s Pink Floydish.  It’s good to get off the beaten path an experiment.  Who knows maybe you’ll discover the next big thing.  It’s good stuff!

Some time ago since i´ve heard this  kind of  ´magic- mushroom -soundtracks`but like it much.. .   I also like the delay used as it´s own rhythm . Ya  interpretation of vox-using here stands for it´s own .
It shows one more time the wide range of ya musical influences from ´celtic roots` over rock , rave and this psycedelic genre and ...........??????!!!!!!!
