Okay, the vocals are good but you need to give it a bass line and a drum track.
Also, the timing is a little off on the guitar.  If you use a drum track or some kind of meter
this will help.  I want to hear this again.  You might also consider some kind of bridge, intro, outro
that is different from the rest to mix it up a littlle.  This is a good start, though.
One more thing,  I noticed "pops" in the vocal recording.  Use a screen on your mic to prevent this.

I think if do these simple changes you will have something. - Mark from GRUNTLED

hey!
this is really good....  I like it...   The quality is bad, but you know that... and it is easy to get better quality with the gear you have...  I still use a cheap mic hooked into my computer sound card... no mixer, no expensive sound card, it is the built in sound card.. and my mic was buy one at $19.99 and get two free.... so I couldn't resist...

So let me know if you have any questions...  send me a pm, and I will help you get some better quality rather quickly...

A nice song indeed.
You could easily get hold of a program for you pc to record or at least lay two tracks, ever heard of www.sonicspot.com?.
Record the vocals and the guitar separately, simple as a pimple.

I think he did record them seperate, based on the sound of the guitar and vocals, and the editing that has been done...

Audacity is also a nice free program, and incredibly intuitive...  One of the easiest and best I have seen....

I think the vocals are alright...but you need to work on your guitar playing a little (timing and also the strength of your finger pressure playing chords).  One thing that could be affecting the guitar sound could be your guitar's action...it sounds like it is set way to high...check your acoustic for access to the truss rod and adjust it carefully to lower the action of your strings (but not so low that they're touching!).

Others have mentioned the recording issues, so I won't mention that.  But I think you've got a nice song here..so keep working at it! Good luck

Voice isn't bad, but sure it could be improved.

Def needs to be re recorded imo.

Add a bit more dynamics too, and maybe a key change for the chorus. Or some ornamentation.
