It’s in the battle 2007-03

You smash my heart with your words.
It won't break,
It won't break,
This anesthetic won't work,
It just hurts me.

I wish I knew where I came from,
I wish I knew where I'd been.

I don't,
Need you,
I don't,
Need you.

The lights are going down,
Look at us we're fading out,
It's beens good to have you,
That look across your face,
Distorted, crushed and hazy eyed,
Fuck your white lies.

You pull me back all the time,
I won't wait,
I won't wait,
You drag me down but I'll climb,
I won't fall down.

I wish I knew where I came from,
I wish I knew where I'd been.

I don't,
Need you,
I don't,
Need you.

The lights are going down,
Look at us we're fading out,
It's beens good to have you,
That look across your face,
Distorted, crushed and hazy eyed,
Fuck your white lies.

Look away,
And I'll be,
And I'll be there,
In front.

Noice tune!  I really like how the two voices play off of each other..they are each unique, and still compliment each other.  Recording quality sounds perfect to me.  The lyrics seem a bit weak to me...it feels like your telling half a story but not really cutting to the core of the situation - dont be afraid to reveal more of yourself

I agree with TK, but i don't think the "ready for MTV" is a good adjective.

I hope you can be famous at this side of the sea, (if you wish)

you are in the otherside guys, you crossed the frontier between amateurs and pros

good job, and keep on sharing us your songs

Vocal good, music good, the text of a song aggressive. Such sensation, that the author of words experiences awkward age. Tries to affirm itself most likely in words, but there is no belief in. Auto-training a song.

Oh my goodness!!! Blow me off my feet, why don't you. Wicked riff, tightly played, sung awesomely, written well, nice lyrics. Punk rock, hell yeah! I have to have this. 100% vote for you (and I don't give them away all that often) and straight to my playlist and computer.

Listened again, blew me away again.

Cheers

funny to find you guys on this site it's nice to have a real pro band on a mostly amateur band site
The sound is excellent as most pro recording do
Not my kind of music but still very good and tight!
A far cry from teeny pop punk but so much better

Great song.
I think that I can hear some Mark Tremonti inspiration in there somewhere.
I could hear bits of Creed / AlterBridge influences, could I be right?
Anyhow, loved it and have rated it very high indeed.
Well done, keep up the great work.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused...
This is Fightstar...as in...Charlie, guy with eyebrows from Busted?

Someone from Fightstar posting Fightstar songs on bandamp or some kid trying to take the piss?

Wow..
I loved it!
I can totally relate to it, which makes it even better to me. I loved how everything just went together. Heh... I wish I could do this type of work. This is one of those songs you hear and think "I wish I would have written that!"

Incredibly recorded. Very very good drumming.

Don't really like the style at all, very "emo", but there is a good bit of Foo Fighters too it.

Overall extremely professional.
