You need to remove that noise on the begining  and in the middle of the song, its kinda anoying. Atmosphere is not bad, and it has potential but u need to work on it a bit more. But hey, nice try anyway. Keep rockin' and good luck.

You definitely have the correct idea. Not bad sounding at all man. I think in the future you will have some songs that will be a force in this competition.

Nice sound... As for the bits of static on the track it sounds like maybe your guitar lead needs replacing or maybe when you have recorded it you have gone over 0db thats one of the probs i had with my software until i realised what it was... Nice chilled sound though q:)

Great idea for a song. I'm liking the sounds you are getting there. With a bit of work ie. fix up the input level to remove the clipping, polish the lead guitar line and add some vocals, this song could be a winner.

This song has a good feel so far, try to retain that. Good work man, keep it up!

Hehe, this kinda reminds me of my song I just uploaded and submitted to the same contest. :P Your harmonies and your chord progression are very much to my taste in music!

However, as someone mentioned it is a bit static, I'm sure someone with your talent can come up with additional stuff to make the song more varied. And to answer your question: yes, I liked it!

I like it very much but needs something to break it up like someone else mentioned.  Maybe some vocals or piano.

Can use some work musically and with production.  Not too shabby, though.  I liked those fast guitar runs you did about 2:20 into it.  Some vocals couldn't hurt; the rhythm and background chords are very repetitious.  

Creates a nice atmosphere and has nice melodies, but it could do with developing a little more. It's good, but I think it needs more body.
