BasketCore Rap Teaser
*
This is the placeholder for a new MP3 player

This song is not in a battle

Ok this is a teaser track - not exactly the final product, though it can be seen as "a" final product to some length, because it's well, mixed down and mastered and all, sounding as dirty and gritty as intended.

However, this features my own vocals instead of BasketCases who also wrote the lyrics, and it's well, censored

The instrumental backing was done with my live rig (EMX plus loop station), vocals, dog and edits in Cubase.

Enjoy - and if you're 18+ and interested in the uncensored version (with mr Cases vocals, and additional text in the end), just pm me or BasketCase, provide an email address that can take atleast about 5 MB mp3 attachments, and we'll send ya a copy.

well......
This is very Hardcore... The beats are extreme.... this is like Gothic Rap.....  not exactly what I was expecting..

Very nice vocal Delivery....  Esp considering the style of the song.......

Production, compostion, quality, blah blah blah... all excellent....

The only thing is, It scares me....  so for that, I give a really bad vote.... cause it's scary..
Seriously though... I give it, 5 STARS... Mainly because I have an affinity for dog barks in songs..

umm...
The Dog Barks are censoring certain un-nice parts of the vox....

You don't want the lyrics posted... they might hurt your feelings, they hurt mine... hahaha....

Seriously though, the dog barks are the censoring of the lyrics.. and they work well....

I liked the tune! Nice recording, nice vocals, sounds professh. Again not my kind of music though, but I've listened to lots of your stuff anyway! It's very well put together you have talent with the production. Was this the one done with your live deally?

hehe, thanks

yeah, let's not post the lyrics, hahaha, I have no idea how to phonetically spell a dog, barking (ok I guess "ruff" might work... but then the entire first verse will be diminished to a big ruff-riffing, not making actual sense at all...)

eh, for the record, this is not my kind of music either, but it was a lot of fun to put together. and yeah this one is done with my live rig, after creating the beat I went on guitaring to the loop station, and immediately liked what came out. had to edit it down though (originally lasted 10+ minutes) and the vocals and the dog were done in cubase too.

it started with BasketCase mailing a set of lyrics to me btw, which immediately reminded me of Minstry's filthpig album. at first I thought about doing something in that direction, but I ended up going this way instead

cheers !

hey. nice work. would sound more nice if the drums were not distorted in that way. ending is abrupt. a new noodle theme?

I don't think it ends abruptly, it fades out!

the ending on the BasketCase-vocals version is different, makes it more complete. Noodle? Hmmm maybe. I purposely got gritty and dirty on the production though, a fine way of preventing the drums to sound "too midi"!

Bark Bark.... Joking lol... I like it! Not bad
Real gritty , but i like it as a hip producer myself, sounds like a rock/rap/club song. Not bad.  cant think of any other feedback. becuase of the creative vibe of it makes it intresting.

I think Triton is right about the drums distortin, at least in my headphones.
I'm a confessed rap unfriendly haha..but this a kind of techno rock with heavy guitar (which is really good btw...I loved the riffs).
Actually the only thing I recognize of on this tune is the groovie stuff and your voice, experimenting a bit perhaps...it's good Puppet.
