It’s in the battle 2006-10

JBP spruced up the guitar files I sent him, and then I applied his techniques to the vocals as well... altogether making the song much more accessible and listenable...

read his posts on compression, normalizing, etc.!

I agree - sounds much better to my ear as well. Good job on the mix.

Good stuff, like the fact its in its pure fun form, reminds me of Jim M. and Robby K. doing the blues like it should be done

Well Done, Keep it fun!!

your voice and this song reminds me of the Guess Who...production quality certainly sounds improved on this...some strings squeaking here and there..but overall a very good piece of blues

Love the blues, the lyrics are very good also.  Like the solo also.  Great job!

yes this is a very good blues piece.  The only thing I may do is clean up the hiss in the recording.
It isn't that bad but it is there.  It is very easy to clean your mp3's before you upload them.
Just use a audio cleanup utility.  Sound Forge or Creative are excelent.   - Mark from GRUNTLED

That was truly sweet, man. Those blues are rockin'. The guitar working is awesome, and your voice is really cool.
The absence of a bass is noticable, though. It'd be nice to have a slow, simple bassline moving quietly in the background, unobtrusive-like. But great song!

What a difference the post-recording production makes!
A great, fun, blues number in G!
Love the lyrics, love the vocal delivery
Nice playing too

Nice blues song.

Nice lyrics.

How long did this take you to write?

Was it improvised or did you have to think about the lyrics for a while?
