Err, no comments on the things you spacificly asked for.
Actually, I like the melody. It's pretty cool.
But yer, the whole mix is full of treble. I imagine this isn't a mager problem for an unfinished tack...just saying...

man i really like this. the intro into the song is awesome as is the whole song.

i like it when you come into the distortion from the plucking at around 1:08, the progression there is good and one can feel the little bit of the dark touch to it.

this is fun listening to. get some lyrics into it and things will turn out greater. i agree with moses. you gotta add more bass or let the bass guitar influence all the more. enjoyed the double bass and the off beats. can't wait to listen to the whole thing.

Good guitar playing, really nice.
I agree with the fact that it does need a bass, it'll add depth.
I hope the vocals will be as good as the instrumental.
The structure is pretty clear, I mean where the verses and choruses go.
Looking forward to hearing the full version

guitar practice
I can't see any structure going on here or any catchy riff or melody. The playing is tight though, and free of mistakes....the drums are very tight too...who is playing them??..lol.

No Bass
It would sound really deep, sensual, soulful with bass. I can tell that just from listening. And the riffier parts would sound great, too.
I can definitely see some structure here, if I understand what you mean by that.

I like the pauses, builds up a lot of tension, which is cool, and unusual in rock. Tight playing.

Very creative, very good, ADD BASS!!!!!
