I agree, some good vocals could make this song even better than this! Would like to know what sort of guitars were used?

ahh, yes, I like this song. I think the delays on the guitars could have been more subtle though, or better in time with the drum rhythm. Well you could have tuned your guitar better, but there's a definite charm in the acoustic being mic'd like this.

Overall instrumentation, therefore, sounds ace. There's a great feel in this song. As a backing to some art film it would do alright without vocals - though some breathy female vox could spice it up big time.

Good job though, keep it up!

interesting......
Well, it is pretty decent recording...  I agree the delay is a bit too much at times... though the delay makes it seem more dark... at the same time it hasa lightness about it, it's like despair with hope.. Being broke, and receiving a check for a couple hundred bucks....  It makes you feel good...  I like it....  Woudl love to hear ya throw some vocals on it myself... though from an instrumental standpoint, it sounds really good as is....

Yeah i know the guitar sounds out of tune ,it was because the strings were very old and i didn't have any cash. If you guys have any idea's on vocals ,enlighten me please .I can't get any words for it.helpp

like Jim said.."despair with hope" overall this evokes a great feel, perhaps good background music for that part in the movie when our hero makes the self-sacrificing decision and knows he is on his way to meet a tragic fate...

as for some vocals, lyrics...I think this could use a folksy melody..and thought-provoking, intelligent lyrics.  Maybe I'll give it a whirl...

Kind of carries me along - I like the "despair with hope" analogy.... it fits well.
Yes, the delays are a bit too much
Yes, it could do with some vocals
But it's recorded well, has a pretty nice structure, and I enjoyed listening.

sounds really cool unique having the guitar out of tune and the old strings i think gave it a good old fastioned feel to it. I feel like I'm in a bar long ago in the wild West lol.
