It’s in the battle 2006-10

' You were playing at the lady's feet?' asked K.
'Yes replied Hans, ' That was my mother.'
And now he had to tell about his mother, but he did so hesitatingly and only after being repeatedly asked; and it was clear now that he was only a child, out of whose mouth, it is true- especially in his questions- sometimes the voice of an energetic, far- seeing man seemed to speak; but then all at once, without transition, he was only a schoolboy again who did not understand many of the questions, misconstrued others, and in childish inconsiderateness spoke too low, although he had the fault repeatedly pointed out to him, and out of stubbornness silently refused to answer some of the questions at all, quite without embarrassment, however, as a grown-up would have been incapable of doing.'
- The Castle- Franz Kafka.

heres my third go at fl. hope you like it!

my first impression:

amazingly hard drums.

weird samples...

odd speaking....

wow this is putting me in a trance...I think it is going to give me nightmares.

Dude, this is glitchy and awesome, and really unsettling. I really love those drums, what filters did you apply to them?

well the voice is just me...
the drums sound hard cos i moved the pitgh down and tweaked some other bits, but mainly its cos of the pitch.
dont like tinny sounding drums, id rather listen to hard ones.
read the castle, that will give you worse nightmares than this!

Cheers!
well i did record the whole quote, with  audacity, but i though it was too long so just sampled it. its just the first two line you can sort of hear. just thought kafka would suit the mood.
thanks for voting.

well my download speed is so stupid slow right now I'm just leaving it at this and the father tune. I'll come back for the children later.

uh, yeah, very interesting. as said - keep experimenting! I enjoy the vocals, very eery. no problem about having them sounding like a crap telephone from the 1920's now

It would be a fun song to make I guess,
but it doesn't sound like music to me.
I kept wondering when it would start.....?
