This is Great TK!
Very beautiful chords and an evocative arrangement. It reminds me of Vangelis, who I think was very under-rated. Great sound choices too.

But,.....I would love to hear this played in a longer arrangement with piano and string quartet. perhaps even given a sparse melody. Strings and piano are meant for each other and this composition ( I think) would sound beautiful with the organic sound a quartet would provide.

On the other hand, the electronic accompaniment is very moody. It isolates the piano, like the piano is a sad little instrument and the synths are crowd noise in a big room.

You are quite versatile, buddy. It's always a pleasure to open one of your posts to see what you have in store.
Good job and a big vote from me.

Hi alerion,

thank you for your nice words and voting. I can almost see what you mean. probably if the the tune is longer it would be kind of boring but on the other hand its begging for a melody then. Lets see what happens. I am thinking about.....

nice soundscape... filmic with a jazzy touch. this your triton rack or were you playing around with some vst's?

anyway to me this is the soundtrack to a sci fi espionage movie... with the lead character pondering over just one drink too many...

Hey TK, you and Puppet should get together and score a movie! A hi tech sci-fi thriller is perfect for you guys!

As to this being boring - no way.
This is one of the moodiest pieces I've heard here and it ends way too early!
i listened to it a bunch of times and it's really cool. If I had the time, I'd try an arrangement but now that I think of it, anything I would do would ruin it. This is a very personal piece and you should definitely expand it yourself so it stays focused. i don't know where your head was at when you wrote this but it must've been a cool place!

wow

So, I'm going to make you the higher praise I can think of right know: it reminded me to Tristan und Isolde... of course I'm not saying it's similar to Wagner's piece, but you made me recall the prelude...

voted.

It is dark but it works really well...
I got your allusion about keeping songs on top....

This is cool, the piano sound clashes a bit, but I guess that's your intent, very mysterious

Sounds very suspenseful, and very well done.
It ends so quickly though. It would be nice if it was longer

I thoroughly enjoyed this, if I'd any cogent advice on how to get into soundtrack writing I'd dispense it right here.  I agree with the others, it needs to be a bit longer, but it's an absolutely top piece of work

Well..
Well, you had your go at me now I'll give you a go... I find it incredibly simple to make your soundscape with a triton keyboard.

Every time you touch the damn thing it sounds like something good.. You know as well as I do..
You can litterally play with your feet.

So if ya wanna judge my pattern based songs...

 Go ahead.. : )
