There were words originally. This is actually a song that we stole from my other band, Narwhal called "hawaiian girl", which was an 80's style song with simple chords and a catchy tune, and we decided to turn it into a laid back, psuedo-funk/rock groove. I'm not sure if the same words would work, but it might sound good if we came up with lyrics for it.
