Red, Green & Blue

This song is not in a battle

Singing random things in the shower getting ready for work...
Decided to quickly see if they fit with any of my recent instrumentals...
Decided to quickly record one take...
Fiddled around with it for a bit...
Got late for work...
Eventually called in and said I had to babysit.
Oh dear. Smacked bum for me.
Like most of my other stuff, it doesn't have a 'structure' really...and it doesn't really make sense. But oh well.

LYRICS

What if I said it with a different inflection?
Would it make a difference to your reaction?
What if I sang it in a song?
Would you choose to hear it wrong again?

What if I wrote it on a post-it?
Or tatooed it to my head?
Would you get the message?
Or would you still be playing dead?
Even if I had a plane to
Write it in the sky,
There wouldn't be enough space,
To list all the reasons why...
I've fallen, I've fallen...
I've fallen, fallen...
I've fallen.

I am red, green and blue,
Head over heels in love with you,
And if I don't have you soon,
I'll expload.

well well I really enjoy this one, the lyrics are very well constructed. Actually they strongly remind me of a poem I once read somewhere... but I can't recall who wrote it, nor the excact content of it.

I think they're really very well done - the lyrics

and I particulary like the repeating end-chorus bit going almost like a children's rhyme. brilliant. sets a great chemistry yeah. would love to hear this loud in a smoke n strobe filled club sometime

the rest yeah... is porcelaindoll-ish. very much your scripture of song writing/production.

Nice little song!

I'd like to hear "wrong" sung on the same note as "song" then drop low again for "again"...just an idea.

Like Puppet said..the repetition of the chorus at the end is very effective.  Maybe I'd like to hear the drums and bass a little louder and driving through the last chorus...maybe build each chorus louder and louder so that the last one is a great big crescendo of sounds. Good job!  Hope you don't get into too much trouble at work!

very nice, but the music doesn't yet live up to the seduction of the voice -

how about some double tempo fat percussion of some sort on 'explode' ?

just (another) idea

cool, chilled. You seem to have fallen quite a lot of times!

Yeh, you have a nice voice, very cute. The music is quite relaxing, something i could listen to in a smoky club, or just lying down on my bed.

Love the harmony at the end. I'm a sucker for vocal harmonies!

No, not lots of times. Just twice I think...Or still in the process of falling the second time.
I like my Greg so very much. I don't think he likes me as much as I like him, but still, I'm not bothered as long as we get to hang out.

ok porcelain u get better all the time
this is trippy..............and very nice
o.k. song construction........????
consider the hook .................... is it strong enuf?
ask yourself why would I listen 2 this a second time?
I listened 2 this loads ............... the hook is there 'am i red and green and blue'
but it arrives really late in the song........... where the sythn arps around near the start might be a good place to put it
to hook me use the bait early!!!!!'am i red and green and blue'

got my vote

it's really very good. you may not be with the one this was aimed at anymore but as a generic love song it's , awesome, basically. I say keep it the way it is.
