It’s in the battle 2007-04

He is thin, but not weak. His clothes are dirty and falling apart, but he doesn't mind. His goal is to get to the destination, by using every steel muscle in his body and he will not rest till he gets there. Nothing can get in his way, there are no obstacles he cannot overcome. There is no heat, cold, rain or a storm that will stop him. He will hit bumpy roads and steep hills, suffering great pain along the way. He will fly down the hills, overcome with joy, only to get ready for the next battle.

His endurance is endless. He is a man-machine. He is the Rickshaw!

Interesting theme. Instruments are choosen very well. Performance is good. Reminds me of old Mike Oldfield tunes.
Excellent in my ears

yeah a real nice funky tune! though the wire-bass type sound seems so typically midi-type fakish to me, it does fit in to the entirety. I really love the guitar sounds. And this GROOVES.... way yeah... I think this can be remixed w/ different instrumentation in a great number of ways.

but this version is very good as is.

Good stuff Toxman,
Sounds great - the playing is very tight
Lovely sounding guitars
I get what PX means about the not-so-natural sounding bass, but it still has a great bass line.
The tapping drum line throughout carries the piece along very well.
Construction is good
Recording is good
Mix is excellent

Yes, I like this one a lot.

Bass
Yeah, I was going for kind of slap bass sound, but maybe it was little too much of that... 8-)

Thanks for listening... 8-)

yeah, maybe you're right and it's a bit too much
of slapping sound in the bass, but when the drums
come in, it stops to be annoying i'm joking..
the mix is great and it's cool you played around
with the stereo channels all the time.. nice effect..

Yeah...great guitars! I agree that the bass shouldn't sound so mechanical, obviously with your guitar skills wouln't be difficult for you to record a real bass...well, maybe you don't have a bass, then a guitar with an octaver perhaps.
Well just suggesting.
Great one
Cheers

Thanks for all your feedback guys, it means a lot to me. This was more or less experimental tune, I felt it doesn't really fit into any mainstream category - that's my excuse for not going with more realistic bass, but I'll try to do with better bass sound next time, I promise...
