This demo, aptly titled "other song idea", is a demo that Chris, the leader of Stylish Headphones, Milady has just sent me. In spite of being a short and simple demo, it is by far one of the most catchy tunes he has written.

Expect to hear a full band version sometime in the future. Maybe not on the current album, but this song is sure to eventually be a centerpeice.

simple can be quite effective.

not sure if the yodelling really adds to the song, but whatever works.

I like the lyrics, like the melody, the vox sound good but are a bit shaky sounding in places.  solid guitar playing.  I think I might like to hear a little more for the chorus - some lyrics that give a central focus to the theme...

Yes, he told me that it was song he simply wrote on a single idea (the comparison of failure in the first couplets with sleep in the second couplets) and that he was planning on adding real lyrics to the chorus later. We'll really be sprucing it up in the coming weeks, adding more verses and instruments, as well as a more meaningful chorus.
