Gman (original)
*
Well since WillyDavidK posted our horrible on-the-road collaboration of Gman, I suppose I should post the original.

This was my very very first song, written sometime in the abyss between 2000-2001 in a midi sequencing program, I then put it in Audacity with random phasors and other awful filters, to make this horribly lo-fi techno song.

The samples of the guy talking are from the game Half-life.

yay!! The original gman. This song was so beautifully crappy. I don't know what's better, the crappy gm samples, the horrible lo-fi recording of said mid, or the random phasers that cause horrible distortion and such.

I still remember when we thought this was the greatest thing ever.

Good ol' gman speech.

Awesome!

the samples make it perfect.

I actually like how the sound is raw and grainy (in other words, badly recorded) :P

this goes to my playlist...

Funny - I just listened to the remix, and it lacks the "life" and feel of this one completely.  Actually, I didn't bother to comment on the remix as it was just a bit of techno/midi fooling around (to me) - but this version is great!

Yup, the vocal sampling compliments the music superbly.
The effects on the instrumentation are great (although a little too grainy in some places!)

Excellent ending!

Good stuff.
