ooohhhh yeahhh

this IS funky alright!

I love the trumpet sounds! that is that jazz blue feel (always summoning the image of metropole by night overviewed from stylish penthouse) seeping through into an uptempo techno funk track!

man, as far as I'm concerned this is your best upload thusfar (beside the interviews ).. but that usually the case when working with other people! 2 know more than 1... I love all your stuff btw... This one makes it to my playlist, and ofcourse the HD (but ... really... I download a LOT off here)

too too bad about the count-off clicks at the start though.

Sweet!
Lots of nice triangle waveforms. I mean I like the sympatico of the synth, trumpet, and modestly distorted chuka guitar. And your dude can really play...great feel.

Thanks!

I love funky music, and this sounds cool!
The brass are great. Also those synths here and there gives the song a really nice touch.
And of course, the funky guitar... may be some wah-wah.
Nice tune guys!

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to say how much fun it was creating this piece yesterday.  Thanks also to Swordfish for introducing me to BandAmp and for knowing much more than me in the use of Cubase and VST instruments.

Hope everyone likes it.  I think it is a kind of mix of seedy NY jazz club and techno funk - a strange mix but it seems to work out quite nicely.

I look forward to working with the sword in the future and hopefully having a few more songs on here shortly.

Thanks for the comments so far and more are always welcome!!!

Hey!!

This was COOL!!  I like it.....I would like to hear maybe different vocals to it...
the song has alot of potential... but it is also GREAT the way it is........
but you could change the vocals easily.......to a more complex song

Nice song Mr Fishman!
The brass is very good, as had been said by....... just about everyone!  But I especially like the looped bass, which is very simple but seems to tie the whole track together and gives it a really solid grounding.
Good guitar work too.

This is not a complex song, but it just keeps driving along there.  Very nice

That Cow is as good as the song!

Really nice song all the way through, all the instruments sounded real jazzy and funked, but I didn't go for the vocal track, in has a radioish effect. Something warmer and closer would have done the trick!

i thought i posted to this once before
i don't see it up here though.

very tight playing on this. this does the job in my book. too me it seem to be more about the music than the vocals which is cool .  gets really high vote
