But I like this song and the synth rhythm in the ending part. So you got my vote for the nice idea and the growing quality on your songs.

Sounds a bit like the summer hits of the 70's (bee gees) with a "modern" twist.
Did you make the drum line? Pretty good.

Overall sounds pretty good. Ending a bit sharp though! I guess, gotta to get used to it. I find that, sometimes, once you're used to a song, you can't change it because it sounds weird even if it is an improvement.

Would listen to it on an Arizona highway somewhere near the red rocks of Sedona or some place like that (weird feeling to listen to techno stuff in "cowboy" country!)

What a great line.  The song gets a good rating just for that!
Aside from the overall mix being too quiet, which you're very much aware of, this is a fine recording - very good in fact!

The stereo separation is nice - instrumental sounds and blending are all good.  Good playing, simple but very effective use of guitars.  Even the singing sounds good.

The end just gets cut short a little for my taste - I think that last note could go down to an A on the bass, which can then be left (with reverb) to float away in the ether, but other than that.............

I mean this is great for a Advertisement or TV commercial, it's really fit for that, especially because you can easily shorten this song to a healthy 20 - 40seconds without many losses. I wouldn't call this song a "serious" song, i mean i'm not calling it a joke, but it's no meaningful ballad or whatever... it's a fun song, (I sure hope that everyone knew that...) so i'm not really going to criticize anything because as i said, its a fun song, sounds like you had fun making it, sounds like everyone had fun listening to it.... i did i can tell you that

This is exactly what I wanted to hear today (and tomorrow too, so I'll download it!)

I think the part at 1:28 could use a bit of a crank in the bass...when everything else is quiet I think that bass should be boomin!! (and maybe add a bass scale slide for good measure in there )
