lyrics
I can't see, the way that it was
It's no use, there's no turning back

You don't see, I'm not what you think
You can't see, I'm not the same

There's no way
There's no going back

(solo that's too long in retrospect, and somewhat repetitive, this is mainly about Steve the drummer)
(pitch bending is intentional)
(I like where it goes at 2:54)
(I like the goofy mininalist solo 3:20, the minimal nature makes me think of the mininal solo in Floyd's echoes-not that I'm comparing ME with the Floyd keys guy!), tho I think Steve's drum solo thru this is the best part of the tune-yes it's a drummer with electronic drums)

And now and then-you wait for me...
out there somewhere...
and there's no turing back from the past no more...

(It probably could have been edited down some-and the hum at the end is also on purpose)

Yes Steve plays the drums very well.

The pitching piano fits exactly to the ..... thing (?)

this time the music was first
and then I put the lyrics and vocals on. The percussive piano was poked with two fingers, just like it sounds like it might be. The melody is overdubbed.

I like how, where the vocals bend to match the pitch bender. Again, experimental, like I said, and surely not perfect.

is there some strange overcompressing on the drums or what else caused the clicks, it kinda disturbed me first before i got to listen to the lovely pianopart

did hear better singin from you, but do like your voice..., oh , i' said that before

liked where the chords came in, i do hear some floyd in this too, or better say, i could imagine floyd doing this.., playing slightly better

need i say i like floyd?

need i say i like the piece?

aint it nice to hear a real drummer?!

A musical tapestry - have a said that before?

It's ok as a bit of free-form music around a central core - but it does go on a little long for me!

There are some strange bits in there; the vocals for example (not that they're sung badly, but they're just odd !

Still, the playing is fine, recording also fine.

Different.  I actually liked listening to it, as it's quite different from the run-of-the-mill stuff.

So keep it up Journeygirl - there's no turning back now!

Nice experimentation:) You have a good voice, why don't you use it more frequently? The piano in the middle is... crazy! In a good meaning wow!
