Gravity V2
*
Score: 84.3%
Rank: 3rd
Battle: 2006-08

This one goes out to Iszil, it's not actually finished yet. But I thought I'd better put it up.

VERSE 1

Sometimes words disappear,
In relation to what's there,
And you don't say a word.

You are a red light and he is a car,
He runs right through all your scars.
And you don't know why.

CHORUS

When the earth is turning too,
Gravity is pulling you and crushing all your rhythm,
You find it hard to understand how things could get so out of hand,
Without you making a single decision.

VERSE 2

You wander, wondering for days on end,
Hoping some answer will impend on you,
But nothing appears,
You feel trapped inside the years you lost with him...

BRIDGE

And it fucking hurts I know,
But the pain inside will always show much whiter,
On the black spots of your life.

CHORUS

When the earth is turning too,
Gravity is pulling you and crushing all your rhythm,
You find it hard to understand how things could get so out of hand,
Without you making a single decision.

Mud, you must make a 10.000.000% rating, cause this song f**king deserves it!
I loved this in the original version, and this one really killed me!

I'm glad you like this one, Iszil. Because it really is one of my favourites. Sadly I got way too fast in the chorus parts of this song, And the whole things could have been slowed down a bit anyway

Do you think I should put that light synth in the back like the original?

Yeah, you could a light synth in the back... but make sure it's soft and subtle; nothing to loud, just like the original version.

the chorus makes the ears soundlike the chorus is too fast for the song...

every body break out your chester gear and wave your little "i love chester" flags because he's another hit by our beloved vocalist... cant you be imperfect like us mere morstals and make a song that doesnt get a grammy by the first couple of seconds into listening?

i must admit a very girly deatale.... i almost got a bit teary eyed during this... ALMOST! *hides her hankie quickly*

but yes erm, very good my dear man very good, keep it up and now im off to rate

Seems like you write lyrics that people can easily (and deeply?) relate to:

Still I'm going to critique your lyrics here for a minute... Because... of reasons.

This here line is evident:

You find it hard to understand how things could get so out of hand,
Without you making a single decision.

Which is funny... because things do get out of hand when people don't make their own decisions in life, but how many people know that about themselves? And should they wallow in misery (inactive) or stand up for themselves, leading their own lives instead (active)...
