Five Lost Friends V2
*
This is the placeholder for a new MP3 player
Score: 87.9%
Rank: 4th
Battle: 2006-06

The new improved version of five lost friends. Waaaay better. and faster.

VERSE 1

Seems she's burned like a cigarette,
Tangled up in the fishing net,
Gone and caught herself again.

She's so tired from fighting this,
fingers wrapped into battle fists,
Lost all energy to stand.

CHORUS

She lost five,
Five of her friends
She doesn't know,
Know as of yet,
She has heard,
she lives in the dark.

X2

VERSE 2

And she'd be tall if she only tried,
Always landing the easy side,
Flip a coin the battle won.

She'd be hurt if she only knew,
What she'd done and who came through,
All her friends wear half a smile.

CHORUS

She lost five,
Five of her friends
She doesn't know,
Know as of yet,
She has heard,
she lives in the dark.

X2

Hey dude, I just finished downloading the last of your songs You mind if I burn some CDs and give them to friends? Anyway, the reason I'm posting on this song is cause every once in a while there comes a singer or a song that just makes me think "If I could only just sing like him..." And last night I was going to bed listening to my iPod and when this song came up, it made me think that. You've got a real talent and I've told you that since the first time we started talking. Just keep it up and even if you don't get "big" just know you've got an amazing gift. Talk to you later bro.

Hey all!

Wow, the response i got from this one is so cool! Especially that when we were recording the EP this was the dud that we were both reluctant to work on. Then we brought in Bella on bass and I told her it might be fun if she did something really orchestral and we came up with this and it just sounds 1000% better.

This'll be a great live track

As for burning CDs and giving them to your friends I guess it's ok... But I do have EPs you can buy off me, they're only $15NZ so that's about $6US. And they come in a nice case thing and stuff. So think about it

Its a great tune indeed,..try to make in the middle half speed interruption ,..and then modulate in f minor?
Good for ?
I don't know,..just a positive hind.
But as it is its good so don't change anything.

nice
But I would love to see a bit of more variety in your songs...  Perhaps see a different genre tried....   You know... spice it up a bit...

Maybe give some rock or even bluegrass a try... the singer songwriter balladeer stuff is cool, but I just really like to see artists explore their limits...

         My opinion....

What do you mean, folk? That's predominantly what I do! Haha...

As for rock, I've got loads of rock songs I've written, I just haven't really recorded any. Mainly because I can't be bothered finding other musicians to play with and don't want to go all midi.

So, yeah
