This song is not in a battle

This is my latest addition to the BandAmp collection. I listened to this 'till me ears bled, and decided to dust off the minimoog and pop it in on all of the choruses (except for the first chorus...I wanted to build the song). This was an awesome sound used in a lot of old Genesis/Yes/Cars/etc... tunes. I thought of it the other day. Nobody uses these sounds anymore..I wanted to kind of *bring it back*. I added crunch rhythm guitars (mono) and played the same part  twice panning to left and right creating true stereo (also after the first chorus). I cleaned up the bass guitar part and added a little more punch to the drums. Thanks for listening...C

Well, now you've done it.......

On the previous posting of this song I said "....and the production is spot on" but the production on this one is definitely better!

The addition of the distorted guitars are subtle but make a big difference to the feel - the minimoog (my brother-in-law still has his!) adds colour and variety to an already excellent song in my opinion.

So how do I rate a song that I've already rated highly?
Hmmm, it'll have to have the same rating, although it's definitely an improvement on the original

Ditto to all the positives.
I really like the short stops for sound. I certainly don't do any of that... but now I want to try.
Again. Superb work.

wonderful tune.

perfect mix.

it's so clear! are you recording in a studio?

some live drums would do this wonders. other than that, I can't complain.

Very neat!
So neat that I don't like it, it's cheesy.
It is professionaly done and very well performed, that I like.

pro stuff
I love the song style and the harmonies are spot on. I really like the bass lines in this song. very catchy. The lyrics are very good too. Clean crisp recording great use of the stereo field (nice seperation).  I love the mini-moog sounds fits perfectly.  I'm glad I heard this song very happy sounding tune.

professional.

Your voice is kind of cheezy, but it fits the song perfectley. I can imagine this on the radio.
