You walked the line. Great song to drive on, change the mustang to ferrari lol .. jks... Enjoy the ride ... hope to hear more soon ...
amazing how the same tune can polarize musicians (those that see no value in guitar and speak in thinly-veiled derogatory comments - perhaps "guitar-envy"?) and those, like myself, who happen to love a well-played guitar instrumental. This tune has immense value just as it is. Flawless, awesome technique ("bounce-picking" technique on par with Eric Johnson ). Beautiful, creamy lead guitar tones. Interesting and well-crafted composition. Soaring melodies. Skilled use of guitar harmonies. We Bandampers are privileged to have you on this site. Looking forward to more from you.
Yup, like this one a lot. But then I love Vai / Satriani style music, and this is of a similar vein that's played extremely well. (Dare I say it, I also really like Van Halen and this isn't too far off the mark for him either!!!)
Perhaps the only downside (not really a criticism, coz I also feel it sometimes with Steve Vai's music) is that it gets a bit "samey".
Still in all, it's a great sound that'll be downloaded and stuck on my MP3 player for that drive to work

Thanks for the feedback guys. I realize the song gets a bit samey after a while, but I don't start out with a lot a structure, and can run on a bit. I try and keep it interesting with some fills, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. This song was done with the Les Paul again. I like it better than my Strat. The drum machine thing won't change, as it's all in the programs of the Boss 1600 I'm using to record. I getting used to finding more and better drum fills, but it'll remain a machine. I'm going to record another tune with Lester soon,
and probably be doing a slow tune and a blues in the next while.
