perchance undo me |
lyrics:
perchance
sew the edges clean
singing the unseen
weak in the legs
falling down
as the years
undo me
i'm erased
from the scene
and my heart
keeps me in
its not cold
like the new
all the time
waxing old
into mine
into me
into mine
into me
perchance
perchance
sew the edges clean
singing the unseen
weak in the legs
falling down
as the years
undo me
i'm erased
from the scene
and my heart
keeps me in
its not cold
like the new
all the time
waxing old
into mine
into me
into mine
into me
perchance
You have a very interesting style of singing, which is sort of captivating. With your other songs, you also demonstrate quite a range of styles.
This song is a nice gap-filler really, not particularly good as a stand alone example of what you can do, but something to sit in between other tracks of an album.
Pretty well recorded, the singing stands up well - the guitar lets it down a little with the playing.
An enjoyable listen all the same, so well done.

eh. it's just a song sketch. . . just like all the others.
these recordings are FAR FROM PROFESSIONAL!
maybe someday when i'm old and grey i can get a few hours in a nice studio but for now i'm content making analog sounds on cheap cassettes.

I liked it.
I don't really guage a song on chops, structure, or professionalism, .. we can all use a day in a studio. I like it real.
This was real. As is your other stuff.
Which could get air play at some college radio stations.
Tape often offers a better quality than digital in regards to handling over powering, which your dinamic range has a tendancy to do. And tape is better in some other ways that get over looked in our quest for clean sound and more recording space. Don't knock it because good music shines through the down sides. I noticed on some of your other songs that you can open up - and do it well - which can be rare for the home musician.
Thanks for sharing.

thankyou soni. i'm glad you understand.
still does magic to my ears... analog ideas to magnetic cassette... just lovely
actually gives that same feel of the early Dead Can Dance music - even though of a different style.. it's got that "Frontier" feel to me, all the way.
