This song is not in a battle

Screaming out your name
All the applause, all for the stage
Don't think it's yours, it's just a phase
10 minutes of fame

Feeling strong, so invincible
Take on the world you feel undefeatable
Don't think you're champ for too long
It's just 10 minutes of fame

It's seem all clear
They say they're friends until the end
One day you're down, then you're sure to find out,
It's just 10 minutes of fame.

Don't hold on things they never last
What comes fast you know it also leaves fast
Just remember that it's all a phase,
It's just 10 minutes of fame,
10 minutes of shame....

this has a nice laid back groove to it. sweet mark knopfler-ish guitar work throughout the whole song. i would bring the vox a little more up front if i was mixing this one though.

I agree with syntax about your vocals - they're just a little too low in the mix.

It's a great groove you have going there, that could perhaps been improved by some more interesting drum loops.

The lead guitar work is great - not too overstated, and the sound is spot on for this track.

I like it!

I'd say it's a matter of the drums being too loud. The guitar / vocals seem well balanced but both are hidden by the drumbeat IMO. A bit more variety in the drumbeat would definitely help too.
Nice sound though. The guitar and vocal sounds are very nice. Nice fade-out at the end too.
Good song.

Quiet Down the Drums and bit, and add some drum loops. The guitar work is great, but some of the stuff is drowned out by the volume of the drums! Good work though!

actually bring the vocals and guitar up.....

The drums are at the right level, if you lower them, you will take the entire volume too low....

This song has a great feel.... really enjoyed listening to it....

this will be a keeper...wish I had the raw tracks so I could fix the levels..

      Great job....   Keep em coming...
JimK     I have rated this song.....

Good stuff man. Gives a David Bowie style of singing to me. I like the guitar parts in the backround. Again you need to mix this a little better. Good guitar riffs. I think you could have used a better guitar sound for the backing guitar. It sounds a little to crunchy or something. Other than that it's a good song. Keep it up.

I agree with the others... voice is a bit too low in the mix... in fact I need more level and presence on any instrument, except the drums... which are nice and swingy, but just 1 pattern and too clean - so they sound like what they are (drum machine)

The bluesy guitars are very well played and the vocal timbre's great aswell....

so the groove is good... lyrics are interesting... but then there's some editing hicups?? hmmm the mixing is a 3 minutes 40 seconds of shame...

nm... I've left a nice rating

very enjoyable guitarwork! remix as been said before and it will appear as a great song.
of course some variety wouldn't hurt., maybe a more screaming distorted solo at some point?? maybe raise your voice now and then?
all and all a nice song, hard to decide to rate Good or Very Good
