This song is not in a battle

Can't you see you were wrong to lay your hands on me - isolation all around - it's surrounding me,
Now I see it's been too long to act so passively - the choice is mine, I'll make - it pertains to me,

You can feel, deep inside you, feeling like the only one,
Love surrounds me - it's hard to find me - will I die the lonely one...

I sing for inspiration - in my desperation
I still call out your name...

Time goes by it feels the same - they say it heals all pain
But they fail to say - internal scars remain

Dark as the seas on a new moon
Drown in my seas - will I die soon?
I'm hanging on...

As dark as the seas on a new moon
Your beauty brings light and so much more,
Through pounding and relentless waves
Your Love guides me safely to shore.

The construction of this song is really nice, and it's played pretty well too.  I just don't thing that the recording does it justice!

Don't get me wrong, the instruments are well recorded - but there's something not quite right about the mix - for a start, the vocals are way too loud, and too clean for the style of music.  As for the instruments, they sound like they were recorded inside a box!

This is a great shame because, as I said to start with, this song is really nice.  In fact, more than that - I think this has the potential to be a great song!

Your voice reminds me a lot to sisters o f mercy on the verses...
The song is very well structured, guitar riff behind the voice fits just fine but I think (and it's only my opinion) lead guitar comes "out of place" at some points.
Overall, great tune.

Like jiminuk says, you got good solid tracks, nice and straight without sounding like robotic,  Lyrics are better than anything i could write. You should probably turn up that lead guitar running around back there.

well done....

I think you have a great song here with a better mix this could go commercial...
I feel the levels are off a bit, and the vocals are tight, but perhaps muddied a bit, seems like it's the mic though...  anyway..   Definetely a grade A song though....   Very impressed...

I like your voice, it sounds like Ville Valo.

The vocals are recorded quite well, but I'll agree with whoever said they were too loud.
