Can almost hear the vocal line in my head when I hear that first progression.  When you make a final version of the song you have to definitely hit a killer vocal line and let it all out.  Makes me think of love lost and regret.  I would listen to this.

   well done... very nice.. .the flanger is almost too much, but not quite... is pretty good...

thinking back to yesterday,words i said and things ive done,ive come to realize time eludes us takes us by surprize,ive yet so many things to do ive yet so much more to say......(opening to one of my songs) fits right in.maybe play cleaner,more precise.good job.
