This is cool.. gotta love the use of an odd time signature. Personally wouldn't have done the whole song in 11/8, but it seems to work well anyway.  Nice work

very cool idea, but it could do with more development.  it got a little dull towards the end which is i think what stavros was getting at.  good stuff tho.

I agree, I shoulda played a solo with the guitar towards the end of the track. It woulda worked much more.
Thanks for the critiques!

nice tune
it's catchy... midi incorporation is always fun. However, I agree, it sounds like something is missing. but maybe that's just me. keep it up.

Good ideas
Interesting use of 11/8 time and some good ideas on the bass. I think possibly the missing "something" other people have mentioned is just energy and a bit of dynamics in the performance. Really the only cure for this is to record it with live drums and mic'd up instruments. Not too shabby overall!

I liked it to a point, but just felt that it was leading on to something that wasn't there....
I wanted the track to break completely and lead into something else in 4/4.

tune
Good idea, just needs more...something...instruments, melody line, something to grab your interest. It sounds like a nature program track right now.

that's a bit weird to hear shame it doesnt have a lead part... feels like it lacks a satch type thing over the top, nice chords though

The time signature is really interesting but the song drags on way too long without really changing. Cut down the intro and add some parts, a key change, minoire, lyrics, something. The rhythm is really interesting, maybe try some sort of rhythmic breakdown?
Otherwise good. What does 11 times 8 mean though?

11 times 8 means 11 beats in one bar, 11/8.
Yes, music is ruled by mathematics.
and also a secret society.
